Alpha Kappa Alpha is the oldest Greek-letter organization established in America by black college women. We are a non-profit service oriented organization with more than 200,000 members worldwide. The Xi Theta Omega Chapter is a premier chapter in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, and has been serving the citizens of Arlington, Texas and the surrounding communities since 1982. Community Programs

Alpha Kappa Alpha responds to the contemporary needs of the Black community with comprehensive non-traditional programs. The ESP vision embraces a five-pronged program designed to excite, galvanize and ignite the passions of more than 180,000 members worldwide. The goal is to transfer this enthusiasm into a collective resolve to parlay members' talents, energy and creativity to realize Alpha Kappa Alpha's enormous potential for empowerment, security and progress.

A.C.O.L.Y.T.E.S

ACOLYTES (Arlington Community Of Lovely Young Teens Excelling in Service) is a teen organization for young ladies in the Arlington, Texas area and surrounding communities. It was founded in May of 1990 for young ladies ages 13 to 18 by the Xi Theta Omega Graduate Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ACOLYTES is the premier fellowship of young ladies committed to working together to serve the citizens of Arlington and make a positive impact on other youth in order to affect change.

Xi Theta Omega Foundation

The Xi Theta Omega Foundation (Foundation) was formed in 2004 by members of the Xi Theta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., to increase the commitment to the Arlington community with educational and scholarship opportunities. The Foundation awards annual scholarships to a male and a female high school student who plan to attend college, and who have demonstrated excellence in academics, leadership and service.
